Bank of Lancaster Announces Promotion02-Feb-2011
Bridget McGrath Moss had been promoted by the Board of Directors of Bank of Lancaster to the position of Assistant Vice President, Residential Real Estate Operations Officer, reports Bank President and Chief Executive Officer, Austin L. Roberts, III.
Moss, a native of Virginia, began her banking career as a teller in 1978 after graduating from Rappahannock Community College. She has worked in the banking and mortgage industry for over 25 years specializing in secondary market lending.
Moss joined Bank of Lancaster’s Residential Lending Department in March 2000. She has been instrumental in the development of a secondary market loan program to include the Bank’s partnership with Fannie Mae. In 2007, Moss was promoted to Residential Real Estate Operations Officer.
Along with her responsibilities in Residential Lending, Moss has served on the Bank’s Service Improvement Teams - Performance Evaluation and Standards, which are teams put in place to empower the staff and to help the company achieve the highest possible levels of customer service.
For the past 11 years, Moss has participated in several capacities of the Northern Neck American Cancer Relay for Life events for Lancaster/Northumberland, Essex/Richmond, and Westmoreland counties, including Team Captain and Chair of the Luminary events. She is a member of Carmel United Methodist Church in Westmoreland and a member of the United Methodist Women which focuses on mission work locally.
In making this announcement, Roberts stated the Bank’s management and its Board of Directors feel fortunate to have Bridget as a part of the Bank’s family. Roberts said, “Bridget is committed to our company’s philosophy of service excellence and her vision and leadership abilities have been an asset to our Residential Lending department as we strive each day to provide our customers the highest quality of service. Bridget is not only an asset to our Residential Lending department but to our company as a whole and we are pleased to have her on our team.”
