Bank of Lancaster Welcomes Loan Orginator30-Sep-2011
Bank of Lancaster’s Vice President and Residential Lending Administrator, Sharon R. Kendall, is pleased to announce that Residential Loan Originator Mark A. Curran has joined the Bank’s family. Curran is located at the Bank of Lancaster’s Heathsville Office and looks forward to serving the residents and realtors of lower Northumberland County and Lancaster County.
Curran has over 6 years of experience as a mortgage loan originator specializing in construction loans, lot loans, purchasing and refinancing. Most recently, he was a mortgage loan originator for five years with another financial institution in the area. Curran was ranked as their number one loan officer for the Northern Neck region and ranked 12 out of 80 officers throughout the three states where they are located.
The majority of Curran’s career was spent in the United States Navy in the Supply Corps. Some of his duty stations included the USS Rigel AF-58; USS South Carolina CGN-37; NAS Bermuda; NAS Mayport, Fl; NAS Guam; USS Brumby FF-1044; The Citadel, Charleston, SC; NAS Puerto Rico and NAS Philadelphia, PA. After 21 years, Curran retired in 1992 as an (E-9) Master Chief Petty Officer.
Curran has been a resident of the area for the past ten years. He and his wife reside in Heathsville. Curran is a Board member of the Fountain Cove Homeowners Association and a member of the Middlesex Hunt Club.
