Golden Advantage Welcomes Belle Mount Vineyards as a Merchant Sponsor

21-Sep-2011

Shown in their tasting room at Belle Mount Vineyards are Ray and Catherine Petrie, owners.

Bank of Lancaster announces the recent addition of Belle Mount Vineyards to the Merchant Sponsor Program of Golden Advantage.

Belle Mount Vineyards, owned and operated by Catherine and Raymond Petrie, is situated on a historic site. The gently rolling hills that now cultivate acres of grape vines were once a settlement of the Rappahannock Indians who lived along the shoreline on Cat Point Creek and Menokin Bay. In 1707, Belle Mount Plantation was originally settled by Joseph Belfield, who retired from the British Navy with a land grant from the King of England.

With extensive backgrounds in horticulture and agri-tourism, the Petries are passionate about viticulture and the love of wine. Belle Mount Vineyards is a member of the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail. It has been featured in many local and regional tasting events and welcomes visitors to their tasting room. Visit their website at www.bellemount.com.

Theresa Ransone, Director of Golden Advantage states, “On behalf of the Bay Banks family, it gives me great pleasure to welcome Belle Mount Vineyards to the Merchant Sponsor program. Golden Advantage members will receive a 10% discount on any wine purchase when presenting their Golden Advantage Member ID card.”
