Bank of Lancaster Supports the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department

Bank of Lancaster is proud to support the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) in their need for a new Brush Truck. (Left to right): Ed Davis of the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department is receiving a check from Richard Abbott, Senior Vice President & COO of Bank of Lancaster.

The staff at Bank of Lancaster is most grateful for the dedication and time that these volunteers provide to our communities. It is a wonderful way to thank our neighbors and friends who serve in the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department for all they do and to repay their generosity to all of us.

KVFD serves as a “first responder” in lower Lancaster County and many areas of Northumberland as well. KVFD assists Upper Lancaster and White Stone fire departments when called and serves as “back-up” to our surrounding counties when the need arises.

A Brush Truck is often needed to respond quickly on rural roads and into sub-divisions as well as navigate in other areas of our community that are not easily accessible by the larger or heavy equipment. KVFD also anticipates that this truck will respond/assist in other emergency response calls.

KVFD also would like to remind everyone that your insurance premiums are affected by both location and equipment of your responding fire department as it determines the protection classification rated on your insurance policies. Upgrading and maintaining the equipment helps to ensure the lowest possible ISO rate which helps you with your individual and commercial property premiums.

KVFD is a non-profit organization and they need community support.
