Customers
We respect your right and
expectation of privacy of the personal information we have about you. We
value you as a customer and appreciate the trust you have placed in us.
Our mission is to make available to you the very best in products and
services that will assist you in reaching your financial goals. For
these reasons we want you to know what our privacy policies and
practices are in regard to the safekeeping of your nonpublic personal
information.
Our Policy: We are committed to the responsible use and
protection of your nonpublic personal information. The collection and
use of your personal information is limited to what is necessary to
conduct our own business, provide superior service and offer
opportunities we think will be valuable to you. We contract with
business partners outside of our own family of companies, as provided by
law, to offer you a broader range of financial services and products. We
do not share your account numbers or access codes with outside third
parties, except as provided by law, such as reporting to consumer credit
bureaus and processing transactions requested by you. We do not share
your personal information with independent direct mail or telemarketers
who are marketing their own products.
Other Safeguards: We maintain physical, electronic and
procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect your
personal information. Our employees are trained in the proper use of
customer personal information and understand their responsibility in
keeping it confidential. We limit the access to your information to
those employees with a need-to-know in order to perform their jobs. We
strive to ensure the integrity of your information by keeping it
current, complete and accurate.
Information We May Collect About You and Where It Comes From:
- You give us personal information about yourself when you request our
products and services, such as CDs, loans, and investment and trust
services. This information, such as your name, social security number,
employment, income and assets, may be supplied on applications or other
forms.

We receive information about you, such as your credit history and
creditworthiness, from third parties.

We develop information about you, such as account balances and account
history, after you become a customer.

Our Web Pages and Internet banking service do not use cookies to
collect consumer personal information.
How We May Share Information About You and With Whom:
- We may share the personal and account information that we have
collected about you and our former customers, as previously described,
with outside third parties and within our own family of companies, or
our affiliates, as allowed by law, such as the sharing of information
necessary to service or process financial products; to effect,
administer or enforce transactions; and to process transactions which
you request.
You may direct us not to share information about you within our own
family of companies that is not related solely to our own experiences
and transactions with you or your accounts that is supplied on your
applications, credit bureau reports and the like. You may opt out of the
sharing of this type of information by contacting our privacy officer

- We may share our own experiences and transactions in relation to you
and our former customers with the following categories of nonaffiliates,
or third parties outside our family of companies, as allowed by law:
- Service providers that give educational, technical and support
services on our behalf for the necessary and proper functioning of our
business, such as employee training, data processing and the printing of
customer checks.
- Financial business partners with whom we have contractual agreements
to offer you products and services which we believe will help you
achieve your financial goals, such as investment services, estate and
tax planning and insurance products. Our business partners must conform
to our privacy standards. Our agreements require that all customer
information provided to them, or that they have access to, must be kept
confidential, must be used only for the purpose originally intended and
may not be reused.
- Governmental, judicial and law enforcement agencies and other
regulators and
authorities, such as when reporting to credit bureaus; complying with
properly authorized investigations and subpoenas; and protecting you and
us against fraud.
