Ed Pittman Receives Elite Recognition


Edward R. Pittman, the Infinex Investment Executive of Bank of Lancaster’s Investment Advantage program was recently recognized by Infinex Investments. Pittman achieved the status of Infinex’s Elite Advisor Group.

The Elite Advisor Group is a significant accomplishment based on the fact that out of 300+ Advisors Company wide, there are approximately 23 who achieved this recognition last year. Achievement for this group is based on the amount of revenue produced by the Advisor for the previous year. For their accomplishment, they are assigned a personal customer service representative and they are invited to Infinex’s annual Elite Retreat.

Pittman, a native of Lancaster County, is a graduate of Lancaster High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree from Virginia Tech. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve and attained the rank of Captain. Pittman became associated with Bank of Lancaster in 1995 and today heads the Investment Advantage program which covers financial planning and investments.

As Investment Executive with Bank of Lancaster’s Investment Advantage Department, Pittman helps customers achieve their financial dreams by working with them to create, grow and preserve their assets through financial planning and the investments best suited to their individual or corporate needs.

Serving his community, Pittman is a member of the Lancaster County Economic Development Authority; a member and past president of the Upper Lancaster Ruritan Club; and a member of American Legion Post #86. He is also past president of the Lancaster/Northumberland Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors; past board member for the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck YMCA; past board member for Mary Ball Washington Museum; past board member of the Lancaster County Education Foundation of Virginia; and past committee member for Lancaster County Parks and Recreation. Pittman served as member on the Lancaster County School Board from 1975 to 1995.

Pittman and his wife Joyce Tadlock of White Stone reside in Lancaster. They have three children and three grandchildren.
